Similarly, “Overseas Sales Group Ⅱ”will be restructured under Sales Division as "Head Office Sales Group Ⅳ."

Which Manufactures and Sells Heat Sinks that Use Porous Metal 

　Elematec Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) announces that it has invested in Lotus Thermal Solution Inc. (Representative Director and President: Takuya Ide; hereinafter referred to as “Lotus”), headquartered in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, as a strategic partner and thus acquired an equity stake in Lotus. 

1. Purpose of Equity Participation

　In today's society, the amount of heat generated by electronic devices is increasing along with the electrification of automobiles and the spread of 5G communication devices, the IoT, and servers, and there is growing interest in heat control technology to address this issue. Against this background, demand for materials with higher heat dissipation and cooling performance is expected to increase. 

　Lotus has a technology for casting porous metal, a metallic material with pores that extend continuously in one direction, by dissolving hydrogen gas into copper (pure copper), cooling, and solidifying the material. Porous metal is a material with a large specific surface area and extremely high cooling and heat dissipation performance. Accordingly, it is expected to be used in various heat dissipation materials, and Lotus aims to establish a mass production system for heat sinks that use this porous metal. 

　Through this equity participation, the Company will utilize its strong network of approximately 6,000 customers and 6,000 suppliers to promote the expansion of Lotus products. In addition, the Company, which has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in the electronics industry, will sell electronic materials, components, etc., that meet customers’ needs in conjunction with Lotus products, thus providing comprehensive solutions to customers.

Notice Concerning Investment in WOTA Corp., 
Which is Developing a “Small-Scale Decentralized Water Circulation System”

　Elematec Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) announces that it has invested in WOTA Corp. (Representative Director and CEO: Yosuke Maeda; hereinafter referred to as “WOTA”), headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, as a strategic partner and thus acquired an equity stake in WOTA.

1. Purpose of Equity Participation

　There are severe shortages of water resources around the world, and water issues have become a pressing international issue, including Goal 6, “Clean Water and Sanitation,” of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In Japan, in addition to structural issues such as increased maintenance costs due to aging pipeline infrastructure, earthquake resistance measures, and human resource shortages, cases have also been pointed out where, in areas with declining populations, business continuity will become difficult owing to falling revenue from water charges. In addition, overseas, the importance of securing water resources is also increasing, and there are many regions where the development of pipeline infrastructure is not progressing owing to rising installation costs.

　Under these circumstances, WOTA aims to build new decentralized water supply systems independent of water supply infrastructure in depopulated areas and other places where it is difficult to maintain water pipes, water treatment facilities, and other water supply infrastructure, and to achieve a stable water supply for each household and facility.

　Through this equity participation, the Company will integrate WOTA’s innovative water treatment technology with the Company’s global materials procurement network, and thereby contribute to reducing dependence on existing large-scale infrastructure, and the social implementation of a sustainable decentralized water supply model, especially in depopulated areas and other places where infrastructure maintenance is difficult. These efforts will also support the development of decentralized water supply systems from a manufacturing perspective, and contribute to solving social issues and building sustainable regional infrastructure.

 Elematec Corporation (“we” or the “Company”) has recently confirmed that a data breach (hereinafter, the “Breach”) involving the personal data of our officers and employees and certain employees of our contractors (including former officers and employees) has occurred at our group company, due to unauthorized server access by a third party. At this time, no breach of information related to external business partners has been confirmed.
 We have reported this matter to the Personal Information Protection Commission and will strive to prevent recurrence with the advice of external experts. 
 We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and concern this incident may cause.  

1.Nature of the Breached Personal Data  

Affected Persons: The Company and our group companies’ officers and employees and certain employees of our contractors (including former officers and employees)

-Company mobile phone number 
-Login IDs and passwords  

2.Details of the Breach and Response 

-On May 29, 2025, it was discovered that the above personal data was breached due to unauthorized access by a third party to the server of the group company, which stored the same data as the Company’s active directory server, through unidentified means.  
-Upon detection, the affected server was immediately shut down, and other measures to prevent further damage were also implemented. A security scan on all servers and computers and an investigation into various logs on the unlawfully accessed servers were conducted. No unauthorized access occurred thereafter. 
-On May 30, the Breach was reported to the Personal Information Protection Commission. 
- No other secondary damage has been confirmed at this time. 

3.Future Preventative Measures 

 Acknowledging the gravity of this incident, we will strive to prevent recurrence by building and reinforcing our information security system, including updating our existing network and security systems, to ensure greater security.

 We will make prompt announcements if any new facts come to light that necessitate disclosure.

These emails can be identified by the use of sender addresses that do not originate from our official domain, “@elematec.com.”

In particular, they falsely claim to be job offer notifications and attempt to collect personal or banking information through replies or web forms.

Please note that these emails are fraudulent and have no connection whatsoever with our company.

If you receive such an email, we strongly recommend taking the following precautions:
- Check not only the sender’s name but also the email address (domain). If it does not match “@elematec.com,” it may be a spoofed email. Please be aware that “@elematecusa.com” is also a spoofed domain.
- Do not respond to these emails, open any attachments, click on any links, or enter any information into forms.

Engaging with such emails may result in fraud, data breaches, or malware infections.
