We have established an advanced quality control system to deliver high-quality products.
Elematec offers a variety of services to meet customers' stringent quality demands. Based on the customers' audit requests, we not only conduct tests to check whether environmental measures (such as component analyses) and products meet the relevant standards, but also provide support to suppliers to ensure that stable mass production is achievable when shifting from trial production to mass production.
In the unlikely event that a defective product is produced, we will promptly identify and analyze the defective product together with the customer, devise and implement an plan for improvement, work to prevent the recurrence of the problem, and undertake other such tasks. This means that we will have support provided when it comes to any and all aspects of the project mainly through our Environment Preservation & Quality Assurance Dept.

Global quality support
The Group has established the Environment Preservation & Quality Assurance Dept. to respond to high quality requirements put forth by customers and has established a system which makes possible support for the auditing of manufacturing processes and support for stable mass production. In addition to Japan, we also have quality assurance specialists located in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Thailand, enabling us to provide speedy support on a global scale when it comes to quality.
Consistent support spanning from trial production to mass production
The Group is able to provide comprehensive support spanning from trial production to mass production so that the shift to mass production can be undertaken in a stable and safe manner when it comes to products that are to be moved to mass production. We can provide meticulous services such as that involving auditing and the undertaking of improvements so that the methods and manufacturing processes adopted and the selected suppliers can mass produce stably and safely and so that it can be ensured that there are no problems in terms of quality.
Advanced quality support
Based on the customers' audit request forms, the Group can not only inspect environmental measures such as component analyses and whether a product meets the standards, but also, if a defective product is produced, we can work with suppliers when it comes to the processes spanning from the initial response to the investigation of the cause, countermeasures, and confirmation of the effects to provide excellent support. In addition, we have established the Elematec Shinyokohama Lab. and introduced reliability tests and analysis equipment, which are essential for product development. Having in-house analysis equipment makes it possible to respond quickly and with low costs.

STEP 1
Supplier Confirmation
Quality and environmental audit sheet improvement plans
A confirmation based on the audit sheet is performed. A confirmation is performed as to whether there are any quality problems, whether the environmental measures meet the relevant standards, and whether ISO, RoHS, REACH, or other requirements are met. Furthermore, we will make improvements in cases where the stipulated standards have not been met.

STEP 2
Support for the shift to mass production
Prototype confirmation
Perform a check as to whether the prototype meets the customer requirements. We carry out tasks such as improvement activities with suppliers using process FMEA and the review of specifications which take into consideration the customers involved and the feasibility of mass production.
Process audits
We conduct an audit of the manufacturing process to make sure that issues with the prototype have been solved and that stable production is possible. Then, we will perform a smooth transition to mass production.

Management of Initial Flow
Handling of defects
In the unlikely event that a defect arises after delivery, we will respond promptly to the situation together with the supplier. After the identification and analysis of defects, an improvement plan is designed and implemented. We also work to prevent recurrence and handle things in terms of elements such as the next product model.
Inspection agency service
Environment-related substance measurement service
Products are measured to see if they do not contain any environmentally hazardous substances. Fluorescent X-ray is used first for a screening analysis, and then a high-precision analysis is performed on products above the acceptable limits.
Visual inspections
For the external inspection of products and parts in Japan and overseas, each part is manually inspected for problems such as scratches.
ISO17025-certified testing center (Elematec Logi Serve Corporation)
We have obtained ISO17025 certification to ensure higher standards of when it comes to the quality control capabilities of our inspection agency services. The testing center is certified as a laboratory with international analytical methods.
